Restaurant Property Advisors Society - RPAS

RPAS members can provide advice to ratepayers for restaurants and licensed premises on matters such as:

• Opportunities for successfully appealing against rates
• Pursuing appeals to Valuation Tribunal in the event of unsuccessful negotiations with the VOA
• Budgeting for new build premises and future years’ liabilities
• Claiming empty property and other reliefs available
• Advice on temporary reductions where there has been a material change in circumstances
• Advice to Landlords on empty rates
• Other rates mitigation issues

Members are able to provide this advice on sites in High Streets, shopping centres and retail and leisure park locations across the UK.
